Only worn on short easy hikes so far. Held up well in the rain, and apparently water-proof and not just water-resistant. Pleasantly surprised, as this brand is not a usual favorite, but needed a pair of "budget" hikers for the warmer months. Went up a half-size to an 8, and with socks, they feel really great.

I purchased these Columbia Strata in Titanium Grey Steel/Sage Leaf ( on the right ) a few months after getting them the in Stone Green/Sunstone color ( on the left.)As an avid hiker, I need hiking boots that are comfortable, breathable with the right grip for whatever terrain I am on - as well as water resistance. The Strata offer all of these things and more.I wore the first pair in 80 ° weather in September and hiked 7 miles. My feet stayed dry and weren’t sweaty. My feet were comfortable the entire time.These hikers don’t require breaking in, they’re comfortable right out of the box.I sized up 1/2 size for colder months when wearing thicker socks and had no problem in the late summer - early fall with thinner socks.The toe box is generous and my toes aren’t squished. The laces stay tied.I switch up between these 2 pair and they’re the most comfortable hikers I’ve ever owned.Don’t sleep on these. They’re high quality, stitched well, lightweight and breathable with real leather/suede. They’re like clouds!The colors are cool, too. The Stone Green/Sunstone are loud and proud! Love the details and bright laces- fuschia with orange.The Titanium Grey Steel/Sage Leaf have nice subtle bright sage in the heel pull and laces and Logo. They’re definitely grey steel.Highly recommend them.

This is my first proper hiking shoes which I used for tracking in NZ. It was so comfortable and it didn't need breaking in. As suggested by other reviewers, I bought 1 size bigger and I put in a pair of insoles. It was stable, protected my ankles through uneven terrains and waterproof (walked 2 hours in the rain). Overall, I am very pleased with its quality.

I ordered these twice. The first time was the wrong size. These are comfortable, feel like amazing quality, great support, don't feel hot and look exactly like the photos. I don't think I'll have to break them in, but we will see. The laces tie nicely. Anyone that thinks they untie or come loose needs to just loop the lace one additional time before making the "bunny ears" that's keeps it from sliding. These will be amazing in any season. Super grippy! Can't wait to wear them!
