First off, I'm a person, not a bot. I started researching wireless mics because I sometimes record myself doing repairs or projects around the house to share with my family. I use a cheap action cam mostly and the audio is terrible, especially when I'm trying to talk while farther away or with backround noise. I checked out many companies, read the reviews, the specs, trying to make a decision. What I really wanted was a single transmitter, possibly with a lapel mic as a backup, and I needed one that could be used stand alone (records to the unit itself). Many didn't have these options, or they were incredibly expensive.Then I found the Comica Boom X-D2 Pro. It seemed to have everything I wanted except it was over my budget and came with two transmitters.. I didn't need the 2nd as I only do solo recording.. but there was an option for one transmitter, one receiver and one lavalier lapel mic for the right price and that's what I ordered. Unfortunately I chose too soon without closely reading the changes in the equipment. I thought this one had the internal storage and ability to record on just the transmitter without the need to hook it up to a fancy camera or cellphone. So just be careful when you purchase your model to be sure it has the features you want or need. This single model would be fantastic for someone with a decent camera or videocam or who uses their cellphone to record videos, if you don't want to break the budget and go for the Boom X-D1/2 Pro.Now, as for this particular unit, and I'm sure this goes for all the Boom X-D products in the lineup, I have to say the gear is top notch. From the storage compartment that fits it all in perfectly, protected and held tight, to the look and feel of the units, it's classy and sturdy. These transmitters and receivers appear to be solid and elegant. The screens are neatly organised and bright to see even in the light, the gain control has options for most volume needs, the distance one can go without cutouts is terrific, and they're easy to use. They look very professional, especially compared to some of the other brands that have very cheap, basic plastic appearances (I can't compare the quality but I do find these Comica's to have one of the best "looks" of the many brands I researched on Amazon). I really like/appreciate the locking clip on the lapell mic, the triple charging cable allowing simultaneous recharging of all the gear (if you had the D2 you could charge both transmitters and receiver at once). I especially like the design of the wind screen and how the onboard mic protrudes to its own space and has a square shape where the wind screen has the same square rubber end that hugs the mic perfectly!I didn't have a fancy video cam or DSL camera to hook this kit up to but I did use the included cables to try it with my phone (there's a model that has a specific receiver unit that plugs into your phone's USB-C port if you plan to use that method) and with my 3.5mm to USB-C adapter the test cellphone recording came out amazing.. the audio quality that these Comica's offer was terrific. I was really impressed with the tone and volume I could achieve and I doubt it would need any EQ touchups during post production if you were making video content.Finally, when I realized I had possibly purchased the wrong model in their lineup I reached out to the company and I want to say that they were quick to respond (within hours actually!) and they were very helpful with their advice and finally with their resolution to my inquiries and concerns with the D1 model I had bought. Its hard to find companies that are responsive, understanding and accommodating and Video Transformer, the supplier, appear to be a top notch company that truly cares about their customers, which is why I'm giving them 5 stars.

I absolutely love this microphone. It picks up what I'm saying and what the person I'm talking to is saying as well. It does get a little ambient noise, but I couldn't ask for better for what I needed. The range is amazing. My camera was over 100 feet away but it still picked up every word clearly. Just make sure you have the correct cord attached for what you need. There is one specifically for phones and another specifically for cameras. They will not work for the other, so if you are getting no sound make sure you change that. The cables are clearly labeled though so you shouldn't have a problem.The battery life is incredible as well. And you have a visual display on both units so you can see if sound is registering to the unit or not. I wish I'd bought this a long time ago. Highly recommended.

I have been using video cameras and audio equipment for years and always striving to add to my toolbox and solve issues!First off, this is a very nice package, it contains two transmitters and a receiver that out of the box were already paired up and ready to go.You get a selection of cables, a manual, two collar mics, a couple of wind diffusers and a little reset tool (though I am not sure under what circumstance you would need to use this).Its worth noting that the transmitters actually have built in microphones as well as the port for an external microphone, this makes them a super-slim package, especially as they are small enough to clip directly to your collar if needed or held like a regular microphone. This is a really cool feature!Quality wise the internal microphones and external collar microphones are excellent. I had a bit of a noticeable hum from an external mic I was testing, though to be fair that requires a bias to power it and I do not think these provide that. If you hook it up to a powered shotgun mic, it goes away, so any mic with a decent output should be fine.You can adjust the gain from each transmitter individually on the receiver and switch from stereo or mono inputs.If you have not used wireless microphones before please be aware that they have the tendency to pick up background RF noise (my RodeLink were particularly annoying in this regard), its not normally a big problem in post processing, however, handily this unit has a headphone monitor port so you can listen to the feeds live and arrange your equipment appropriately and adjust the gain controls as necessary.Being in lockdown I didn't check these to their maximum range, however with some creative positioning of my camera I got at least 20 metres without any degradation in the sound whatsoever. If you use both transmitters side by side you can get a strange effect, so it is best to keep a little distance between themMy only issue, and its a small one that I already read in an earlier comment, is that the supplied USB C lead is only single ended, with 3 devices all needing recharging this could prove to be a chore, so definitely order a couple more leads as well. One of my older rechargeable systems had a USB lead with a split, I think that they would do well to include one with this package.All in all a very neat little package and compared to my existing Rode's represent good value for money!
