worked great to connect a 120V portable generator to power a 240/120V house panel. The 240V loads wont work but this cable allows almost all of the other house circuits to run without any problem. This would only be needed if you are trying to power a 240/120V panel with a 120V generator and want to power all panel circuits. The best option would be to get a 240/120V generator and to not use this cable but if you only have a 120V generator this is a great option.

Does the job, not cab tire but for such a small length of cable it doesn't make a hill of beans of difference, it's still of good quality. A bit pricey but you can't buy the fittings and cable and make one yourself for this price so it's well worth it for a well built factory one.

I bought this to connect my 120V EU3000is to an L14-30P inlet. Adaptor worked out great - after 30+ hours run time, no problems.Fit and ruggedness are excellent. Tight connection at both ends, no additional voltage drop @ 2800 Watts out. Powers both legs of my transfer panel. Got caught out in the rain once, never skipped a beat. I've since wrapped the output connection in rubberized tape, making it waterproof. The cable itself is waterproof, but the connection points are not. Be safe!
