I have installed this tensioner on a 2006 4-cyl Dodge Caravan.I was aware that Amazon does not recognize that part as a fit for the car, but I bought it based on the application catalog on Veyance websiteI have inspected the tensioner against the original from the car, and it is identical. There is also an advantage to it, which is a 3/8" square female drive, making it much easier to retract using a 3/8" square drive than using an open wrench on the 14 mm tab at the end of the lever.I could say also that the tensioning force it provided was identical to that of the original part.All in all, this part fits perfectly the Dodge Caravan 2006 4-cylinder engine,

This an excellent product I've used this type belt tensioner before and never had an issue.The vehicle that this went on had bad bearing in the pulley and weak tensioner spring causing misalignment of the belt plus the noise from bad bearing.FYI If you have a high mileage vehicle I would consider replacing the pulley tensioner when your ready to replace belts.It would be easier now rather then later.
