Very sturdy, all around, retractable size, and thickness, love this! My badge doesn't fall off or disconnect from my clothes either when I badge myself in to the building, which it was doing all the time before I got this one!

These had great color designs. They fit my ID badge for work good. My ID badge also has security clearance that I use to get into the building so the badge holder didn't deter from that (which at first I was afraid my badge wouldn't work through the holder). It has clear plastic on the front and hard plastic on the back. The price is decent the only reason I gave 4 stars is that I wear my badge around my neck and do warehouse work so my badge bangs around alot so unfortunately it didn't last as long as I hoped it would. The clear plastic on the front started to Crack first but I still was able to use it and then eventually the back side cracked and fell open so I had to get another one. It lasted about 3 months before it cracked completely. The pull string worked perfect though. I played with that alot and it never breaked.

I switched jobs recently and work in an area where I need to badge into a building as well as a suite. I grew tired of having to find my ID in my wallet every time I needed to access the suite to use the private restroom. So, I looked for badge holders. I went with this plain black one as I felt that it gave the most professional vibe while also matching almost anything. I'm so pleased with it. It's extremely durable and the pull chain makes it very easy to use. It has a clip that you can attach to your pants, or if you have belt loops you can use the hook. The clip isn't as long as I would prefer so it sometimes pops off, but this is a rare occurrence and not a big deal at all. The hook is a nice addition. When I get home from work, I just hook the badge to my keychain and it's where I need it for my next day at the office. The two-pack is also nice. I gifted one to a coworker who was wearing a lanyard. She noted that wearing the lanyard eliminated her ability to wear necklaces. She also loves this badge holder.Update: I've had this badge for just under a year and I use the badge five days a week at work to scan in to various parts of the building. The badge gets a lot of use. However, after just under a year, the clasp that keeps the badge connected to the lanyard (it looks like a button) no longer snaps closed. This renders the badge useless.
