I’m not a DIY girl at all, so I’m happy to say that this was easy to install and works great - very happy with this purchase!

I ordered 4 of these shades for my living room which is south facing and large windows so it gets hot. My husband installed all four shades by himself in one morning. So install was pretty straight forward.I was concerned about not being able to see through but I can see through them really well. Plus they let in the sunlight but the amazing thing is the windows stay cool and no heat comes through. My living room is very comfortable now and I don’t feel like I am living in a cave as I did with my old blinds.I love these shades and I would definitely recommend them.

The Coolaroo Blind looks great installed, this is my third purchase of a Coolaroo Blind. In Each case they were super easy to install. After having two Coolaroo Blinds for over three years so far, I will add that Coolaroo Blinds are durable. The Coolaroo Blind has an easy to use hand crank that makes raising or lowering it simple, the elastic clips on the bottom stand up to the 100km wind gusts where I live. In the winter the Coolaroo keeps the snow and rain off my covered deck and in the summer the Coolaroo provides much needed shade. If this sounds like a product could use, I would highly recommend purchasing one or two.

Really liked the solid construction and the heavy durable fabric. We shopped around and found the prices to be well reasonable for the quality. The installation which took about 30min or less was very easy. A drill and the appropriate size bit along with tape measure, level, screwdriver and maybe a hammer if you are installing in masonry or similar materials just to set the anchors. All necessary hardware was supplied. We installed a 4ft for our little screened in herbal garden retreat. We also decided to screen in our deck and installed a 8ft and 6ft. What a difference in providing privacy during the daylight hours and still see out with no harsh heat effects from the sun. Also a plus, if there is moderate to light rain, they can aide to help keep things dry. We love the design especially with the wand which makes letting down or rolling up a breeze. We will be purchasing two more as we add on a screen room.

We have been using the predecessor to this blind for several years. We bought a gazebo to add to our back yard and turned once again to these blinds. They are very good to block the sun and do allow some small amount of air to pass through. The fabric hold up very well out side and that is the main reason we returned to this blind for this purchase. Our other Coolaroo blinds that are the same color have been installed several years and look as good as the day we hung them. These blinds have a couple of changes to the way they are made. The old ones had a nylon chain that would raise and lower the blind. This new blind has the crank as pictured. I was not sure if I would like this as well as the chain, but have found it to be better. The other change is the tie downs. The old ones had a metal loop that you could hook at the point you wanted the blind held in place. These are a large sail in the wind that is increased the more you lower them. This new design has a bungee type cord attachment at the end. I have not had them in any wind with this new design, but I think this new bungee will absorb some of the wind power and be an improvement as well.Overall I am pleased with the blinds new and old.
