I have some cables running across walk ways (e.g., ethernet), and other attempts to stick them down (e.g., tape) were sabotaged by my robot vacuum or proved ineffective at preventing trips by guests.I don't like running cables along roofs - I think its an even worse eyesore than running them across the floor (and its a rental so I'm not drilling holes).Although its expensive (I believe I paid ~$25 for 2 metres, therefore ~$12.5/metre), it was enough for my needs. The double-sided tape has done very well. Some people still trip on it occasionally, although the trips are far less dramatic compared to when a cable would snag your foot, so its a great improvement there. Robot vacuum glides over with ease.It arrived rolled up, but luckily my housemate has a heatgun when i used on a low setting to gently straighten it out. You could do the same with a hair dryer, or leaving it in the sun (maybe). Cutting to size was relatively easy with both a stanley knife and/or robust scissors - but be careful, some force was required and there is a risk of the blade slipping and you cutting yourself, so scissors would be safer.Overall, if you're willing to pay, this will do the trick. Maybe shop around first or wait till its on sale (and in the mean time, duct tape would do the trick).

It's very sturdy, needs to be flatten before trying to tape it because otherwise it's hard to get it to stick. The adhesive is not as strong, so I would advise to clean the surface before trying to tape.

Por el costo es razonable, contrario a lo que dicen que no se empareja al piso a mi si me resultó sin problema dejandolo un rato aplastado. La cinta doble cara que tiene no se pega para nada al piso usé otra cinta mas reforzada.

El producto es resistente pero viene enrollado y por mas que lo estire y lo aplane nunca logre que quedara plano, siempre se curvo

Funcionó bastante bien para cubrir un cable ethernet que está entre mi ruteador y mi cuarto pero como viene enrollado está difícil de "aplanar", utilicé una cinta doble cara con pegamento fuerte para que se quedara bien fijo al suelo y sin deformar. Fuera de eso ha aguantado bien el "tránsito a pie" y mi cable ethernet no corre peligro.

No me gusta. Difícil de manipular y meter los cables. Deberían venir mejores prácticas, ideas o algo que ayude

Este articulo me ayudo mucho a darle una mejora al area, como lo uso en mi trabajo para ocultar unos cables de una estacion de inspeccion de metales, para cubirir cables de una Brazo CMM.

El protector es de tamaño adecuado. Cómo viene enrollado toma tiempo quedarse plano, yo lo solucione con una secadora de cabello

The cord cover is too stiff to hard, also the sides can never be even with the floor, the double sided tape came along with the package didn’t work on ceramic tiles, I had to buy gorilla 3m double sided tape, but the mistake I made is I, bought the black colour instead of clear, black colour can be seen and look like dirt.However it does the required job.
