Put these on my son's bike to replace the alloy wheels on his bike (a hybrid / gravel bike). They're working great so far, not making much difference in speed, but we didn't expect to see real performance changes, but he said they're smooth, feel sturdy, and are running true.

Decent Chinese made wheelset. I'm guessing this is one of the many Chinese knockoff carbon wheels with some Corki branding. With that said, the branding is not in your face. Black stickers with a slight gloss over the matte carbon. They look like they could be removed and don't have a clear coat over them. I did get a little rubbing on my truing stand for both wheels. But a few quarter turns on some spokes and they were fine. Probably not a big deal if you don't have a truing stand. Close enough. They do come with QR adapters but really cheap QR axles. The nut without the clasp was tightened to the point that the axle pokes through the end of the nut. A bit unappealing if you ask me and I'll probably replace them. The rim tape used looks nice and thick but I could feel that there are spoke holes. So if you are looking for something w/o, these aren't it. The hubs look pretty cheap w/ faux carbon but what can you really expect for the price? Good enough I guess.

These things are LIGHT! So far, they are working great, and I have zero complaints about them. They are holding up very well to daily road use and are a great upgrade from my previous wheels.Very highly recommended.

Upon unboxing this Corki Cycles Tarmac Series Carbon Fiber Road Bike Wheelset, I was immediately impressed by its packaging. It came well-protected, and the sleek carbon fiber rims looked premium. The attention to detail in the packaging was a good indicator of what lay inside.Let's talk about the key features. These wheels boast a 700C, 50mm deep, 24mm wide 3K carbon fiber rim with an external width of 30mm. They're clincher rims with an aluminum braking surface, featuring 32H straight-pull spoke holes. The package includes tubeless tape, valve stems, and brass nipples. One standout feature is the 6-pawl freehub, which lived up to its promise of delivering smoother pedaling transitions. It's a small detail but one that makes a noticeable difference in the riding experience. The aerodynamic design of the Tarmac Series wheels significantly reduces air resistance, allowing riders to maintain higher speeds with less effort. These wheels are stiff and rigid, ensuring efficient power transfer and precise handling. Plus, their natural dampening properties effectively reduce road vibrations, making for a more comfortable ride.Speaking of durability, the stainless steel spokes connecting to the hubs are robust, promising long-term strength and resilience. The 50mm/60mm depth options cater to various riding conditions. I found the 50mm wheelset to be versatile, while the 60mm wheelset is ideal for time trials and Ironman competitions. One thing I appreciated was the option to use either quick release or thru axles thanks to their clever design. It adds an extra layer of versatility. Now, let's talk value for money. These wheels don't come cheap, but considering the performance and features, they offer excellent value for serious road cyclists and racers. The aerodynamics and overall build quality make them worth the investment. The pros? Well, these wheels are lightweight, aerodynamic, and built for speed. The 6-pawl freehub is a real plus, and the interchangeable axle system adds convenience. The overall ride quality is top-notch, with a noticeable reduction in road vibrations. However, there are a few downsides to consider. The price might be steep for some, but for those who demand high performance, it's justified. Also, the aluminum braking surface might wear faster than expected with heavy use.In summary, I would highly recommend the Corki Cycles Tarmac Series Carbon Fiber Road Bike Wheels to serious road cyclists and racers looking to up their game. They deliver on their promises of speed, aerodynamics, and durability. Just keep in mind the price and the potential for wear on the braking surface, but overall, these wheels are a solid investment for those seeking performance and precision on the road.

I ordered these wheels to mount on my race road bike which came with fairly lightweight alloy wheels.I was excited to mount my new race tires on these wheels. Everything went together well however after comparing the weight of these new carbon wheels and race tires to my alloy wheels the difference was only about 500 grams. Not really enough to make a noticeable difference. After mounting them on my bike I noticed that the alignment of the rear sprocket way off and it was making a lot of drivetrain noises. Also the rear hub seemed to bind especially when back pedaling. The wheels did come in close to the advertised weight and have a nice appearance. The finish is good and did not scratch easily when mounting the tires. The wheels did seem nice to ride on but that was probably a lot to do with the high dollar race tires.Overall I am satisfied with these carbon wheel set.
