This is the perfect dish for one of my favorite casseroles. It’s the perfect size. Corning products for many years have been excellent products. They bake well and are easy to clean. Having a lid is also a plus for storing in the refrigerator.

J'avais un de ces plats à la maison mais il a rendu l'âme. Faire attention au nombre d'oz au moment de l'achat plus petit que mon ancien mais ces plats restes les meilleurs.

I feel so silly for not buying this sooner!I have five kids, all grown; one is still in high school and living here at home. And my casserole dishes were all these big huge things for the great big family I raised. As a result, I kept making way too much food, and tossing it in disgust when the mister and the teenager failed to eat up the leftovers.What I really needed was a smaller casserole dish!This inexpensive, versatile little treasure goes in the microwave, into the convection oven, and when my horrified eyes spotted the teen using it on the stovetop, I told her to get it off before it exploded. She scoffed. "I am making Hollandaise, and the dish is fine on the stove."When she was done, I picked it up and looked underneath to see if there were burn marks on the bottom. Nothing. She was right!And look, it even has its own little lid.Now those gigantic casserole dishes are gathering dust up there on the top shelf, and we use this little guy over, and over, and over.Just right!

I've used this product to bake pies and cakes in the oven, and to reheat leftovers in the microwave. It works very well at all tasks. The product looks nice, so wouldn't be out of place on a dining table and is of good quality. It washes without any problems in the dishwasher, and the plastic lids fits very well and is a great way to preserve food. The size is just perfect for making meals for two people. I am very happy with my purchase, and will no doubt be buying another one of these products at some point in the future.
