Needed retainers for wife to hold on her glasses with heavy clip-on mirrors for rowing and sculling (boating backwards, if you didn't watch the Olympic events).These seem like they will work well. Tighten up nicely, and seem durable enough to last through this head-race season.

Recently had eye surgery and now I can see for distance without glasses but need them for reading and computer work. Got tired off constantly taking glasses off and finding a place for them and then looking for them when I needed them again. This cord makes it easy by allowing glasses to hang below my neck. It has a strong rubber like cord and the fittings that attach to the glasses do so very tightly. I wear it loosely so I can take my glasses off and on. If you want to hold glasses secure for sports or other activities, you just move the slider to tighten it closely to your head. The slider is held tightly to the cord by friction so the adjustment set should hold tight.
