The supply it’s self works well, but it doesn’t include a 12v adaptor for the graphics card, I had to spend money to get one. I think this is a bit of a dirty, greedy move by Corsair, I would therefore recommend going with another supplier, that includes the 12v cable for 40 series graphics cards.

corsair is just HIGH QUALITY when it comes to PSU.Good value and does the job.Big warranty and more power than I'll never need.Will probably go into future builds.Pricey but it's corsair, their stuff works.

Excelente fuente. Los cables son de alta calidad, tan alta que son muy rígidos y puede llegar costar un poco de trabajo manejar, pero se sienten duraderos. Recomiendo la fuente.

I was having a problem typical of a failing power supply: system shutting off and restarting randomly. The EVGA Supernova 850G I was using is almost 7 years old and had become noisier so I replaced it with this; the Corsair HX850. The old PSU wasn't bad at all, but Platinum certification over Gold can't hurt. Swapped this unit in and it's much quieter and system instability is gone. 850W Gold should have been more than enough for an i7 and RTX 3080 Ti. The cables in the Corsair are much stiffer but that's apparently due to their use of filter caps in the cabling. A little tough to route at first but after a couple of attempts I found a good setup. Using 3 separate PCIe cables instead of 2 for the RTX 3080 Ti should theoretically allow for better headroom too compared to the setup I replaced with EVGA. 75W (port) + 2x150W (cables) = 375W for GPU with the EVGA. 75W (port) + 3x150W = 525W for GPU with the Corsair. This could be the reason for my instability but I'm not unhappy to have replaced an aging power supply either way. Would recommend Corsair based off what I've seen so far. Can't speak to its energy efficiency but it should be slightly better according to the certification.

Compre varias fuentes de diferente marca y tuve que regresarlas, por el ruido eléctrico que generaban, esta es muy silenciosa y da poder a una rtx 3090ti, 4 fan, dos discos duros, dos ssd, un ryzen 7 5800x, un enfriamiento liquido de 240mm y ni si quiera se calienta, es como dice la etiqueta ultra low noise, los cables son rígidos, y el material se nota de buena calidad. Si tuviera el nuevo conector de 12 pines estaría mas que perfecta.

I recently got VR and my computer kept shutting down under load. I noticed it especially when trying to play GTAV for periods of time. I researched and found my power supply faulty, so I ordered this one. I easily installed this, it also came with a bunch of very nice looking computer wiring that I replaced all my interior wiring with. Games and VR run flawlessly and uninterrupted by power shutdowns since. Highly recommend this supply.

Los cables están bien reforzados y listos para ser usados, podría ser un poco menos pesada pero me imagino que es por el tema de la robustez.
