The ventilation on this is really effective, even with the carbon filters. I wasn't quite sure if it would be powerful enough at first but it really surprised us! It has multiple settings for the fan which have a nice variation and isn't too loud. The slim option was true to what it said and it doesn't take up too much space and is lightweight so it can be installed easily. I liked how bright the lights were and power behind the fans. This vent hood is definitely quality and put together nicely. If ordering carbon filters be sure to buy off of the website as Amazon does not carry the right size for the slim option.

if you have older 12" deep cabinets, mounting could be tricky because you need nearly 1" for the power cord. it is feasible to adjust the plastic piece holding the power cord straight but that's a 'better know what you're doing' type issue. power is 44" long maybe in the factory, after internal routing you get about 35" (in my case)half an hour or so peeling off blue stuff and under 10 minutes to mount it.As someone looking for as simple an install as possible i scored 100% with this unit. Install was easy, i measured and drilled the holes for the front first, sat the unit on the screws (its lite enough) and quickly mounted the rear pair of screws. The front and rear have the wide holes that narrow so you can slide the hood on and off, i didnt want that and the rear has permanent holes so i used those. i was worried about vibrations and 'keeds' :)It looks nice and clean and i never thought about it but i appreciate the lack of some big stupid logo on the unit. its just the buttons and looks clean. the metal is thin but decent, doesnt bend or ding easily.The leds are nice, good amount of light, i got the 6500k to match my kitchen.The blue stuff wow, I ended up being impressed by how scratch resistant it is. its too bad they couldnt wrap my car in it.fan is good, its what i expected, its not silent but even on low the steam etc from the stove immediately flows up and out. there's a low whine, its low though so fades into the background easily. its there but low and i dont have to adjust my volumes when its on low or medium. I didnt test high, low-med gets me what i need.super happy, totally recommend.

It was easy to install, looks good, was affordable and seem strong. I’m a happy customer.**update**It looks beautiful but it doesn't suck even at the highest speed. The fan in my bathroom is stronger than this. I guess that’s why it was cheap.I sent all the pics and reviews to get the free filter and never got anything. I didn’t need them, so it didn’t affect me very much. But I thought I comment on it.Honestly, I would not recommend this product unless you are only buying it for the looks and not for what it was meant for. Spend the extra $100 and buy a real one.

Bought this because I moved to a new place, where the kitchen is quite small without air duct. So I wanted a slim stainless steel hood to replace the aged white modal (with a Under Cabinet Range Hood with Ducted/Ductless Convertible in case I renovate my kitchen later to make a duct). I like the bright built-in LED and three outside push buttons (the push button under the hood gets oil and hard to clean), There is three-pronged plug but I don't have power outlet, so I hardwired it. As others have stated, the blue plastic film wrapped around the entire product was quite hard to remove, but I managed to remove it except a little near to the LED light, since it is stuck inside so I didn't get it all out of the cracks. The provided 4 screws to affix the unit to the underside of the cabinet are too long, I used the old screws. The filter and parts are all included, the two reusable aluminum mesh filters are easy to wash, it looks good and modern, The suction power is fair and is enough for my small kitchen, it is not a luxury style with reasonable price, so choose based on your need, I would say for the price it is a OK unit.

En mi caso tengo una salida de aire, para mi parecer le falta mas potencia para sacar el aire.

Nice range hood, good purchase, seems to be well-made, looks clean and easy to operate. Six screws affix the unit; 2 wall-mounted and 4 into the bottom of the cabinet. The instructions ask for 8 mm holes to be drilled into the wall 0.78" below the cabinet into which plugs and screws are inserted. The unit is then hung from these two screws to allow the installation of the undercabinet screws. However, 0.78" doesn't allow enough clearance for the range hood to be hung, the measurement should be about 1.25". Also, the 4 screws included to affix the unit to the underside of the cabinet are too long (cabinets are typically 5/8 - 3/4" thick and the screws are 1 1/4" long).

El producto se mira de buena calidad, pero tuve que hacer la devolución ya que no viene con filtros de carbón, mismos que son indispensables para poder usarlo en modo recirculante.
