These are perfect for applications where you want something very low profile that stays in the device long term. The best example to think about is the usb reader in a car that you can play music from - nobody needs a big old memory stick jutting out from the dash. They come with a mini lanyard because they are so small that they're otherwise difficult to grab for removal. I wish they sold them in 3 packs :-)

This micro SD card to USB adapter works very well and it was quick and east to load 30gb worth of Mp3 files from my PC.It is a great value for the price and eliminates the problem of possibly breaking off a longer thumb drive that may be sticking way out of the front of your car stereo like mine was....I would definitely buy this item again..!

Excellent for the price.But as everyone else says the plastic that holds the lanyard is very flimsy the one on mine is broken but what can you expect for $4.99, fixed it hopefully it can hold up or else I'm down $32.All up.6/10.
