We got this to use as a backup carafe so that we could wash one and use the other since we make a pot of coffee daily, but don't necessarily need to run the dishwasher daily. It's well constructed and works in our Ninja Dual Brew just like the original. The handle feels sturdy and secure, even when full. The size is just right, and it fits perfectly in the brewer. It went through the dishwasher without any problems and came out clean. I'm very pleased with it overall and believe that it will hold up just as well as the original carafe has.

10 April 2025Softy is spelled with a 'y' not an 'i' and leaves one star in limbo. This carafe is essentially identical to the carafe included with my Ninja CM401 10-cup coffee maker. As an engineer I was tempted to bust out the calipers but there is enough tolerance in the machine-carafe interface that visual inspection is fine, and from any angle the dimensions of both the carafe and the removable brew-through lid are quite close, and certainly appear close enough to function as expected (and a successful brew of half a carafe bears this out).Materials are not identical, apparently. The plastics at the top of the original carafe are slightly harder, this replacement is slightly softer. This is apparent in two ways:- when rotating the brew-through lid, there is a softness, noticeable but not outrageous, that can be felt in as the lid locks in to the carafe collar.- the handle on this replacement carafe includes a horizontal piece that joins the bottom of the carafe handle to the color plastics, not present on the original carafe. This appears to add to some movement of the plastics when pouring and cleaning, the plastics are software so the flex is more apparent. Not a big deal, except, what happens after a couple of weeks or months? Also noteworthy but not a reason to panic, I opened the carafe and immediately hot-water rinsed out the carafe and cleaned the lid (soapy water and a coffee carafe together are not ideal, I used a mildly abrasive towel to dry), no odors by the way, but on inspection after drying, the towel had two small black plastic flecks, like two long-grain rice grains. This may have been flash if this is injection molded, or it could have been from tooling that finished the threads for the lid, either way, I suspect the softer plastic played a role here (not true of the original carafe). So, I'm going to keep an eye on this. All that said, I am drinking a cup just brewed in the new carafe, no unusual flavors or odors, everything lined up so no errant brew flow, it works as expected. Why a second carafe? I have found that the plastics on the original, especially the brew-through lid, do better with a bit of a soak in hot water, sitting for a few hours or over night at least (it is 11:30pm as I typed this, drinking coffee, yes), the tube that extends into the carafe from the lid seems to most retain some coffee odor… not awful, but I figured, alternating active and cleaning would be an experiment. I am going to see if the softer plastic holds coffee odor longer. As well, back-up carafe is not a bad idea. Will update in summer 2025…

We chipped our carafe for our Ninja CP301A coffee maker ages ago and were reluctant to pay full price for a new carafe because our coffee maker is so old that they apparently don't make them anymore. This carafe is priced more economically, and I'm happy with it so far. It fits the machine perfectly, and the coffee brews as expected with it. I can pour it with no issues.I'm thrilled to have size flexibility back for the times we have company.

Perfect, works great. It’s almost exactly the same as the original ninja carafe. The only difference is the handle. I like the newer carafe design better, it feels a little more sturdy with the handle being fully connected to the pot. I got this one for brewing iced tea since our other one is always in use for coffee.

I needed a replacement for the carafe to my Ninja coffeemaker. This one fits it perfectly. It's well constructed and aesthetically pleasing. This is a nice product.
