It’s light and rolls easily to where you need it. Yet It’s incredibly strong and safe.

Great for reaching higher and for sitting to reach lower.

This step stool is amazing. I needed a new one after 40 years with my old one. This is exactly the same and looks great. I am delighted.

Looks modern, functional. Well made. Rolls easily. Need to take first step up with a straight leg to avoid banging shin on top step.

OK, it's a little pricey, that's why I chose the cheapest color.$53 for a new Kik-Step or $19 for a new bumper on my 30-year old unit seemed like a no-brainer when I looked at the rest of my veteran Kik-Step and figured the remaining plastic stuff was on it's last legs as well. However, when UPS literally dropped off the crushed and torn box and my wife showed it to me, my first reaction was to send it back immediately. We photographed the wreckage and decided that we would open what was left of the box since we could not return it in what was left of it's original "container."Miraculously, the Kik-Step was unscathed! Nice try UPS.But wait, MADE IN CHINA!?! Oh no! Strike two.Hmm, it feels pretty heavy, and sturdy too. Wow, That's heavy guage steel, and the design of the plastic parts is really thoughtful. The basic stool is the same, and the minor changes are an impovement. It comes in two parts, just like the old one. But wait, no screws? Well, let's at least LOOK at the instructions. It SNAPS together? How permanent can that be? Hey, this baby is really built, and look at the quality of the finish! OK, no skimping on the retainers . . I guess I'll see how well it goes together. I'll carefully line everthing up and press down evenly . . and . . SNAP!Solid, it feels solid. Much better than the old, made in USA one.Well, in a word, it's a KEEPER!New and improved, AND quality control. Amazing!Do I like it? You bet! I expect this beauty to last at least 40 years. It survived UPS and went together in a heartbeat. Now that's a good start.
