Too many wires that do nothing. I purchased this BECAUSE it was for a system that did not have steering wheel controls. The instructions also said as much. However, when it came, it had wires that were labeled SWC. And these wires took up a lot of space and added to the confusion. The replacement radio worked fine. The reason I gave this one star is because the radio would not shut off. Ever! I called Crux and they told me that it was probably defective. After all that work, I had to send it back. I replace it with a Scosche interface from Walmart and it worked great. Radio shut off when I opened the door and it shut off after 4 minutes of inactivity.

It’s a great stereo adapter for any aftermarket radio. Connects to the stock speaker system in my 2011 F150

I thought the retained power was a little silly before installing this but it's is actually really nice to have. It came with good instructions and I the company was really helpful when I had a question.
