The biggest feature for the crisis expansion set is the cooperative game mode. If the core game mode is getting stale or you're introducing a new player who may be intimidated by competitive card games, this is a great edition to bring to the table.The rules are a little bit more complicated than the core game so if you have a table of new players I would recommend starting with the base set before moving on to this one to get the core rules down.The pace of crisis can be a little bit slower compared to other game modes. Because of the requirements to progress each villain, sometimes you can find yourself jammed looking for the right solution for the current villian/crisis.Just as a note on appearance if you're using an older print run of the core set you may notice a slight difference in the coloration of the cards. This is highly visible in the card backs as the older print runs a little bit cooler in color in the newer print run a little bit warmer.

We really enjoy adding the cards from Crisis 1 to those in the base box. Because we don't have the other base sets Crisis 2 have not really been used. Great quality cards and love the foil. In short this has extended the life of one of our favourite deck builders and we don't play DC Deck Building game without Crisis 1 added in.

Für die Menge an Karten bezahlt man leider überall zu viel Geld für meine Begriffe, für gut € 40 war dieses Set hier im Vergleich jedoch richtig günstig. Es gibt viele Karten mit vielmals eher unbekannten DC-Helden, alle aber toll illustriert und die Heldenkarten haben Foliendruck, d.h. die Karten glänzen metallfarben - das macht schon richtig Spaß. Das Spiel selbst ist toll - für das Geld bekommt man aber viele andere toll-ausgestattete Spiele. Als DC-Fan macht man aber nichts falsch.
