I love this small bin - it looks really expensive but was actually very reasonable. Perfect for my den.

This waste bin is gorg. I have it in a section of my room where the hammered bronze look goes with a Mediterranean feel. Incidentally, I had to dump some water in it and it appears to be waterproof for short periods of time.

This is a great trash can for the price. We've been looking for a nice "oiled bronze" looking trash can for a while for our half bath. All of the other bathroom accessories are the oiled bronze look, but the trash cans at Walmart and Target were $25-40... for a trash can!!I don't know why I didn't think to look on Amazon sooner, but as soon as I found this trash can I ordered it. It arrived a couple days later (gotta love Prime shipping) and works well.PROS:- Looks nice, I like the "hammered" look, has some character compared with some of the solid brown "oiled bronze" trash cans I saw in stores- Perfect size for a bathroom- Great price for real metal trash can - saw some others around the same price but they were cheap plastic and had bad reviews. This is stamped steel.CONS:- Arrived a little bent. It wasn't bad, and I was able to bend it back and you can hardly notice it now. It's a trash can, no one is going to get that close to it anyway.I had a hard time deciding whether to give it 4 or 5 stars. I really like the trash can even though it arrived a little bent up, so in the end I decided to give it 5 stars anyway. It wasn't a big enough deal to even send it back for a replacement, so probably not enough to cost it a star.

I have a very old house, with many styles incorporated under one roof. I was looking for a metal trash can that would resemble the Arts and Crafts, and Craftsman style home. I found several, but hammered copper is extremely expensive, and I could not justify paying so much money for a small, bedroom trash can.I checked Amazon, and as usual it did not let me down. There was a wide range of styles available - at varying price points and in various styles. However, my eyes were drawn to this model of trash can. It is metal, rather small, and extremely suitable for bedrooms, or areas where little trash accumulates. But, best of all - it truly resembles an antique, hand-hammered copper object. The style is simple and elegant, it is difficult to tell that this is factory- made, and not turned- out by a craftsman of 100 years ago,This trash can is stunning in its authentic beauty. It is not described as being from a certain era, and no claims of hand hammering are mentioned. But, this little trash can does exactly resemble a small, antique, hand-hammered copper trash can. I took it out if the box, and was thrilled to see the apparent quality, sturdiness, and excellent value represented in this trash can.PI have a large quantity of original hand-hammered copper/brass items for my old house, and this trash can fit so well that it seemed to be made for my 105 year old house.Whether as a decorative touch to your older home, or as an interesting focal point in a more modern house, this trash can can fill the bill. It is lovely, sturdy, and simple...yet elegant.
