I got this for my backyard parties and it's a nice size albeit a little smaller. It keeps the ice for a long time due to the insulation and lid. It looks great too.

My wife's favorite color is green, so of course, that's what I went with (not my personal preference, but happy wife / happy life). It's a nice shade, perfect and as expected. What wasn't quite as expected was the size...it'll work fine for me, my wife, and our 2 small kids, but I wouldn't bust this out at a larger family gathering because it simply doesn't hold enough (I'd be running back inside to refill with ice constantly...at that point, I'd just use a larger non-green colored ice bucket or cooler).I also wish it was double vacuum sealed insulated (?), because this past weekend's 83 degrees (and it'll only get hotter once summer actually arrives and we're in the mid-upper 90s!), ice lasted about 3 hours at best before it's sloshing around. I'd think a double insulation would extend that time-to-melt. They say it's "insulated double wall" but I'm not quite sure what that exactly means (this isn't an area of expertise to me), but I have double-insulated coolers/cups/canteens/large bottles/etc. where ice will remain ice even sitting inside of my car on a hot summer day, all day long...so there's definitely something different about whatever this insulation is.The tongs, which we didn't use (and likely wont be using) seem nice enough and perhaps I can repurpose them elsewhere, but the scoop is especially handy. Despite some other reviews, I don't find these accessories to be worthless or cheap feeling...and they work, so I don't know what's up with what those people received? Whatever it is, I think they're a nice addition (at least the ones I received...unsure if other patterns got something else?).Overall, for a small family to use during a portion of the afternoon out in the backyard, this is a good option, and at a reasonable price point for what it is.

I LOVE this ice bucket.I grew up in a home where ice buckets were filled with ice every weekend night. For drinks.I don't do that but whenever the family or friends get together, I fill an ice bucket and put it out because I don't have a built-in ice dispenser in my French door freezer/fridge combo.I have had a few disappointments (the red solo cup look-alike ice bucket that cracked on first use).So, when I saw this, I thought it might be nice to try.I love it.Used it last week for a birthday party.The inside is brushed stainless steel, which doesn't get water stains.The exterior is a nice matted finish that doesn't have condensation issues.The inside is obviously insulated and has a seal that is quite snug and locks temps in.The lid has a handle to lift it off.BUT ... hold up. The lid is not done working yet. The lid handle serves a second purpose - it's part of the system to secure the lid into place tightly.The bucket handle, which swings up, goes OVER the handle and rests in the little groove, force it down tightly to create that amazing seal that preserves temperature.BONUS: you can then carry the whole bucket by the handle.But how does it preserve temperature?Uhhh... still had ice cubes the next night, when we opened it. There was about half a cup of ice water at the bottom, and the ice cubes were a bit melted, but not melted into a single unit that you have to chisel to break apart.We were all pretty impressed.It includes small tongs with are okay but not spectucular. The little scoop is also just okay.But, for me? Those were not even a consideration when ordering.I want an ice bucket that keeps ice cold all night. And this does. It keeps it cold ALLLLLL night and the next morning and probably into the next night.The materials are good.It's well made and very sturdy.And it looks SO nice. Just really nice.I have it sitting out on the buffet portion of my china hutch, which is a distress off-white. This almond color looks perfect againt white.I am just thrilled with it and have gotten so many compliments on it.

I am sure this will work for someone...but if you are bringing this to a party and it's the ice....Its a party for 2-3. To call this a bucket for ice at a party is misleading. I do mean that it will work and hold ice but this is not a party bucket. I like the colors of it and the functionality but don't be misled, if you enjoy ice and use more than a couple cubes this is a personal size.
