The description says it's paracord, but it is not. There are no individual strands within the sheath. In addition, the rope stretches excessively, making it very difficult to use for my application. To get the rope taught, you will probably need to know some version of the trucker's hitch or else some other approach that will allow you to gain mechanical advantage to pull out the slack. It's literally almost like bungee cord.

I used it to replace the jinky rope that came with a block and tackle I bought and made it stronger and much better looking, it's a very strong upgrade as well

I needed something that could handle more weight and had consistency throughout! This was exactly what I needed. The dark color looks great and functioned as needed. It’s a high quality, 6mm and it has held up well in the outdoor environment and retains it strength!
