Processed 3/4 gallon of Roma tomato sauce this AM. I started with the medium insert and switched to the large hole insert. Came out slightly chunky (I like it that way), some seeds but not bad. Took about 15 minutes after blanching to process. I raise Romas for sauce because they have very few seeds. Remnants were mostly skins - some flesh but minimal. Works great and saved me a lot of time. Easy cleanup as well. I recommend this product for tomato sauce. I imagine it will work great for a number of veggies but I cannot speak to that yet. Love this thing. Made apple sauce and apple butter. No peeling coring, fantastic. Processed our bumper crop of tomatoes too. Made tomato sauce, juice and v8 juice. Tomato soup was fantastic ! No plunging Roma tomatoes in boiling water to remove skin and seeds. Wouldn't be suitable for salsa

I've used this countless times in the past few months as I harvested my cherry tomatoes. This food mill let me get the pulp of the tomatoes without the seeds and skin. I love it and wish I'd bought it years ago.
