**Update: Quelques jours suivant mon évaluation, la compagnie m'a contacté et m'a offert un remplacement. Excellent service à la clientèle. Comme j'adore également ces couteaux, je change mon évaluation pour 5 étoiles.**Évaluation initiale: J'étais très satisfait de ces couteaux au début. Je les utilise depuis 3 mois, les lave immédiatement après utilisation et les affûte à chaque utilisation. Ils ont gardé un excellent tranchant. Cependant, pour une raison que j'ignore, l'un des couteaux que j'utilise très peu s'est retrouvé avec des taches partout sur la lame. J'ai 7 couteaux de cette marque et c'est le seul qui se retrouve avec des taches. Donc, je suis un peu déçu et j'espère que les autres ne subiront pas le même sort...

These knifes not only look good but they are a professional set. One way you can tell a good set of knives is that the blade runs through the handle. So that the handle doesn't snap off. You can clearly see that these are not cheap from that alone. Another way to tell is that the blades are made with GERMAN steel. Germans are famous for their steel knifes. Also the thickness of the metal used for the blades shows that they are made to last many sharpening's.Caution: Theses aren't for your typical person who's main dish is Mac & Cheese and Microwaved Pizza Pops. Not being snobby but you must be serious to have and use a set of SHARP knives like this. So please be careful you don't cut a a finger or toe off. Remember the saying: You can NEVR catch a falling sharp knife successfully!

I do like these knives a lot. They feel very balanced in your hand. Not heavy. They cut through stuff like butter. Easy to clean and store. They suggest hand washing which I do for all my specialty knives. For the money it’s a great value.

Great set of knives for the price! I use them all the time and they have retained their edge very well.
