The picture was very misleading imo. The picture of the pole is a two piece but when the pole came in I realized it is a one piece. The pole is a great pole and I am confident it will easily handle the fish I will be going for but it is a little hard to fit in my Toyota Corolla. All in all, it is a good deal for anyone who can handle a 7’ single pole in this price range.

I build about 1/2 of the rods I use. I only build what I really cannot buy. I buy what makes sense and of good value. This rod is a great value. I have caught a lot of big striper on this rod and it performs great. My only complaint is the handle. It is too short and could be an extra couple of inches. If I ever modify it, that will be what I do along with using some X-flock rubber wrapping.
