bought these as a gift. from the recipient: ''i've worn this '#72' microfiber tights since the 2000s and they aren't quite the same: older versions were softer. that said, they still seem to be pretty good; i'd buy these over the generics that are around these days. with one pair on they still show skin imperfections. for example, i had red marks on my legs from scratching mosquito bites and the marks were totally visible. however, with two pairs they were almost 90% opaque, no red marks visible at all.

These tights look like opaque stockings, and are plenty long for my long legs. At the same time they are much more durable than stockings, which seem lately to pop holes more quickly than ever. The tights are warmer than stockings, which is great in chilly weather, though they may be too hot for summer wear -- though I am mostly bare-legged in summer anyway. And they don't cost much more than the stockings, so it's a good deal all around.
