Product works just fine with 23+ Honda HRV and installs easily but my box was missing the USB C to USB Mini adapter which I need for my dashcam. I instead received 2 USB C to USB C cables and 1 USB C to USB Micro cable.

Great option to install. The black panels behind the rear view mirror came off as detailed in some of the videos but was a little harder for me to get off. Nothing broke and they all went back super easy too. Perfect fit 8 pin connector, like how the floating connector is wrapped in foam. Just had to decide where to put the USB dongle; outside or leave it hidden and just run the USB cable. I kept it hidden only running the USB cable. I also used some extra foam tape on the USB dongle verse sticking it to a panel. If it rattles I'll stick it to a panel otherwise I think the foam tape is enough.Very happy to loose the 12v cigarette lighter adapter and also not having to run power lines around the curtain air bags and tap into the fuse panel. This was two screws and popping some panels off to get it done.

I have had dashcams for years and back in the day installed car audio/video systems for a living so I am used to electrical wiring and removing trim panels on vehicles.In the box it includes the the adapter harness, a USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to USB mini cable, and a USB-C to USB Micro cable, and a little plastic pry tool. I didn't use the tool as I have many from my past but kept it and added it to the tool box. Nice touch to include it though!This adapter is worth the cost as it saves having to run any wires either from the 12v supply in the dash or to the fuse box or anywhere that you want to grab accessory power. This harness is plug and play with no splicing of any wires. No ugly cigarette lighter plugged into the 12v supply. Perfect fit/connection. No issues whatsoever.This adapter was so easy to use it was funny. I literally spent more time mounting the dashcam to the window then the rest of the installation.2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid was what it was installed in. It's my wife's car and she is particular about most things. No complaints or comments this time.Installation. Remove the two Philips screws that are behind the sunglass flip down holder. Then simply pull from the front and it will release the two panel pops. I slid my finger from the back to the front and it released pretty easily. After that simply unplug the white harness for dome light power and plug in the harness. I ran the USB adapter under the trim piece and left it out by the windshield so that I could choose what cable I needed to use. Currently using an older dashcam but will be upgrading soon so need access to the USB plug.Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to deal with running wires up the A pillar or is not familiar with 12v wiring.
