Don’t do it.I bought these to wear as loungers around the house. I knew they are cheap, made in China, but I figured “no stress, no worries”Fail.To be fair, the fit for me is not awful. I’m 6’6”, 325lbs. The only complaint is that the pants are about 4-5 inches too short, stopping well above the ankle. I can live with that around the house.As soon as I opened the package, though, I knew I was destined for disappointment. The material is thin - expected - but it’s a short step from sheer. It’s also extraordinarily stiff for a fabric so thin. I thought it had been heavily starched, but multiple wash/wear cycles have shown that to be not the case.Looking at the construction ( more in a minute ), I opted to wash by hand in cold water and ai✋🏻line-dry. After three washings I noticed that the color of the pants was noticeably lighter than that of the shirt- they have faded.Back to the construction. It’s clear these are made in a cheap-as-hell shop. There’s no distance to speak of between the edge of the fabric and the stitching at the seams. The fabric isn’t folded over, nor are the seams double-stitched. They don’t even use a zig-zag. Ergo, when the edge of the fabric starts to fray- as fabric is wont to do - it *immediately* causes the seam to separate. Six washings in and as I say as hanging the pants to dry I noted that the outseam on the right leg has separated along about an 8 inch stretch, right below the pocket. Short of ripping out the entire seam and stitching it properly, there’s no way to save it.I’m glad I didn’t have high hopes, my disappointment is minimal.
