Although 475 di is listed, the listing fails to mention that it only fits those models made after a certain year (2005+). It will not fit the 475 di tractors made in the 1990s.

DO NOT BUY! Product came on time, installed just like OEM. When I put the ground cable back on t battery after installation the main wire got so hot it burnt all the wires in wiring harness in about 3 seconds before I could pull the ground back off the battery. Took the alternator and it tested to have direct ground inside new alternator. It burnt my tarctor up! DO NOT BUY!

I bought this based on info on it being a direct replacement for the alternator on our old Farmtrac 435z it’s close but the stud that you tighten to keep tension is a different size than factory. It’s 3/8 and the factory looks to be 1/4”. I made it work with some all thread and nuts but it’s not plug and play.
