I purchased a new motherboard with only a DisplayPort output for video. Of course I am getting a separate video card but in the meantime I used an old DVI monitor to test out my new hardware. I needed this adapter to connect the DisplayPort to DVI and it worked perfectly!

L’adattatore funziona bene, ... anche se non è esattamente il modello descritto e mostrato in foto. Io cercavo un Dell ma poi mi è giunto un’altro modello.Ma siccome fa bene il suo lavoro, mi va bene così.

Its a well built, dell original, quality DVI to Display port adaptor. Brand new, came in a sealed package. For an original DELL product, its cheap. Should last a long time, I'm sure I'll replace this old monitor before this adaptor breaks.
