Me gustó que calienta una pequeña habitación pero tienes que mantener la puerta cerrada porque si no, no alcanza a calentar bien.El motivo más que nada es que llego con un pequeño golpe y preferiría comprar uno igual pero espero no llegue con golpes y todo funcione bien.

Cumple su función aunque llevo ya casi 1 mes de uso y aún sigue oliendo "a aceite". Es el único "pero" que le pongo. Su diseño es más bonito que la versión sencilla, aunque tienen la misma potencia ambos. Aunque tiene una cubierta protectora para las quemaduras, si se siente muy caliente estando en funcionamiento y puede ser peligroso para niños y mascotas. El plus de este calentador es su función para programar el encendido y apagado, muy útil ya que tarda bastante en calentar la habitación (algo que es normal en este tipo de calentadores). También permite seleccionar la temperatura a alcanzar desde los botones del panel central, lo cual es más cómodo que las tradicionales perillas manuales. Me gustó, lo recomiendo.

We have been renovating a 90’s build house and needless to say the house is drafty. Our master bedroom and master bathroom are significantly cooler than the rest of the house in the winter. Sometimes they have even been cold. I found this heater and was impressed with its features. I was not prepared for how nice this unit was. It arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. Upon setting the feet into the correct position on the unit and plugging it in I found it to be extremely intuitive, convenient, and powerful. It has a digital thermostat, just like an AC/ heating unit, and power settings. I have 4 children 8 years old and under and two dogs and no one has burned themselves because of the design. The outer metal allows for greater heat distribution while also allowing the outer metal to be hot enough to reinforce the lesson we taught them not to touch it but not hot enough to burn them. Peace of mind in that safety. It also has a tip over sensor and safety switch. It’s very powerful for its size. Our master bedroom is quite abnormally large. It’s 16’ x 28’ with 10’ ceilings. And it heats so well that the first night when the outdoor temp was 26 degrees F we had to turn off the unit because our room was so hot. We had set it to 73 degrees and full power thinking it might struggle to put off enough heat as it was rated for only a 140’ sqft room. It’s not even listed in the specifications for a room that large. We now set it to 70 degrees and mid power and our room stays the perfect temp all night. We loved it so much we bought a second one for the master bathroom. Now our entire master suite is warm and comfortable! This thing was an answer to a sincere prayer. I feel happier living in our warm home and grateful to be living here instead of wondering what the heck I was thinking when I decided to buy a house with good bones in a great area but that required a bunch of work. After the work is finished and the house is sealed up I won’t need these anymore per say but I will never be giving these away. Of all my purchases this year this may be my favorite. Also, they are very gentle on the energy bill as well. Post covid we all need that. At least we do. I hope this novel of a review helps someone with their decision.Also, some buyers mentioned a loud clicking noise. I believe they did experience what they said. However, with the two that we own we have had no such issues. I am a light sleeper and I could not rest if they made any significant noises. The reviewers did state that they contacted the company and were giving replacements that did not experience the same issue. If I had to guess their units were most likely damaged during shipping. Best of luck and if your house is drafty I believe this may be the best option. Also, if it can’t fix it I believe the issue is more significant. Like there is open access to outside (massive cracks along doors or windows) or there is poor or no insulation. No amount of the heaters can responsibly be expected to combat that level of heat exchange.

Es justo lo que necesitaba para calentar mi habitacion de aproximadamente 3x4m. Recientemente me mude a un departamento en Cdmx que resulto mas frio de lo que esperaba en estos dias lluviosos y nublados. El calentador es muy facil de configurar, y en pocos minutos ya esta soltando aire caliente. A maxima potencia calienta bastante, aunque la opcion de ECO ha sido suficiente para mantener una temperatura agradable sin gastar demasiada energia. Al menos eso parece ya que la pantalla te muestra el nivel de energia que esta usando y se ha mantenido en los niveles mas bajos ya por varias horas. Otra ventaja es que esta construido para que el chasis no se caliente tanto, lo cual da algo de tranquilidad cuando se tiene una hija pequeña; aunque a maxima potencia un contacto prolongado si quemaria, en la opcion ECO se mantiene bastante seguro. Como otros calentadores de radiador de aceite, es bastante silencioso ya que no tiene partes moviles, y no seca el ambiente como los ceramicos con ventilador. En general, estoy muy satisfecho con el producto.

Updated November 2022: I am still using this heater and it's just as effective as when I first got it. The other good thing about it that I forgot to mention is that it is not noisy. I don't bother using the baseboard heater in my living room because this provides better heat and costs less to run.********I use this as the main heat source for my living room. It doesn't take up a lot of space, and it looks good. I like this style of heater better than the convection heater it replaced because it seems to warm things up better. It doesn't cost a fortune to run, which is another plus. I also like that the sides don't get too hot, though they're quite warm to the touch, because my cats like to cuddle up near it, and I don't have to worry about anyone getting burned.

Incredibly effective heater!I've been using this to heat my 1bdrm apartment instead of using electric baseboard heaters by simply moving it around. Using two of them would limit my need to move it around and could keep the entire apartment warm at all times. Temperatures can drop to as low as -30C and I haven't had the need to use the Maximum temperature setting. Low and Medium settings work well and heat the area fairly quickly. Because of this, and by using a single heater, I've saved several hundreds of dollars on heating costs throughout the winter.-Quality construction & materials-Easy to use interface-Easy to move around-Silent operation (except for "ticking" sound when metal fins cool, lightly agitate to stop)-No odourHighly recommended!

No voy a mentir, esperaba más poder de este aparato. Lo utilizo en mi recámara, que no es nada grande, y aunque logra mantenerlo cálido durante el invierno, no logra vencer las temperaturas nocturnas.Dicho eso, es un buen calentador si tomamos en cuenta que se apaga automáticamente al alcanzar la temperatura que le especifico, y se vuelve a encender cuando comienza a bajar. Y me siento mucho más seguro con él que cualquier calentador de gas, no sólo no hay fuego de por medio, sino que también se le dice adiós al monóxido de carbono.Es bastante más vistozo que otros modelos, pero en general no creo que se pierda mucho si compran uno más económico. Parece que será un producto que durará muchos años, eso me gusta.Último, pero no menos importante y por lo cuál le quité otra estrella: cuando se enciende en el nivel máximo libera un olor a quemado, imagino que es algo en la pintura, es un olor bastante molesto, pero si limitan la potencia a la mitad eventualmente cumple su trabajo y sin oler a quemado. Para otros quizá ese no sea un gran problema, y quiero creer que con el tiempo el olor desaparecerá.

Set the temp you'd like on the front (or set ECO and it will try to keep things near the temperature you'd like), select your wattage (700,800,1500) and then relax and listen to a few "ping" sounds as it warms up. After that: silent heat.This will heat a larger room than they advertise. I've heated my whole 900 sq ft basement with it.It may smell for the first run, so plug it in before you need to use it, away from people, and run it full out for a few hours. Dry the oil residue up.ECO: Keeps you near the right temp, but rarely right on it. Supposedly uses less energy.Timer mode: if the timer is set while it is on, it will heat for that amount of time and switch off. If its set while off it will wait that long before turning on. You can't really set a schedule like some of their older analog models could.Unplugging the unit wipes out your timer and heat settings.This sits on rollers, and the feet tuck under to save a bit of space when you are storing it away.Keep your kids hands off as the outside surface does become pretty dang warm on full power. Not hot enough to burn on a quick touch, but an extended touch might be concerning.I like it so much this is my second purchase.
