Even on low setting, this light is amazingly bright. Very smooth switching from high to low to off. Good change in brightness level from high to low, and for a spotlight, it actually casts light over a reasonably large workspace. The housing seems very robust as well. Even though it’s a fairly expensive light, I’m quite pleased with the purchase so far. Recommended.

Lo usé para la casa cuando haya apagones y para carretera en una emergencia.Tiene una luz muy brillante y la batería es de la misma medida que la herramienta.La calidad De Walt es sobresaliente,muy recomendable.

Luz muy potente, como de policías, muy directa, esta luz no se espande pero si se pone bocaabajo apuntando al techo si se expande. La luz roja que venia antes ya no esta, por lo demás bien

Best flashlight i have ever owned. This is very bright and always gets the same comment from friends that its "really bright". Does not come with a battery but if you use Dewalt products already then your good to go. The light last a long time on a 2 amp battery. It has 2 levels of brightness. It has a metal hook for hanging and the head rotates which makes it easy to walk with the flashlight with your arm fully extended at your side. It also stands up on its own with the battery in. It very light as well. I find since i use my expensive dewalt batteries i never seem to misplace the flashlight like i would always do with other lights. Would purchase again. Bought this one for a gift.

This is not a review of the like 'I like the packaging and it was delivered fast'.Such reviews are waste of bytes of storage and do not help you.I have owned this light for 2 years and now ordered a second one when it went on sale.Yes the light is pricier and there are knock offs...but...Dewalt makes special kind of plastic that although appears hard, has some plasticity and give in it. It won't break on impact. And that is a big deal. The cheap knock offs all use really crappy brittle plastic; most won't survive even a 2' fall on hard surface, and that is not a joke (same goes for knock off batteries; brittle and not the reported capacity; you have been warned).The light has 2 mode of brightness and the brightest setting is just insane. It goes very, very far and lights up a decent area in far distance (but obviously none near you as this is NOT a floodlight).The light's battery durability is average. On the lower setting it will last much longer. To give a perspective:- 1.7ah small battery: about 20mins of continuous lighting; about 12mins on bright setting- 4ah knock off battery: about 3 hours on low setting; 2hours on high settingConstruction is well thought out. The hook on top is great. The head swivels in a ratcheting fashion, so there are several positions from 90 degrees to 180 degrees and the ratcheting makes sure the head stays in that position.In 90 degree configuration, you can put it down and it stays nicely put sitting on top of the battery.In 180 position, with a smaller battery up to about 4ah, it is so nicely balanced in your hand that it does not tip backward or forward much.Overall this is an amazing light; the best I have owned in 25y of using various lights. Highly recommended

Buena lámpara, aluza bastante bien tiene luz intensa y una un poco más baja si la requieres usar en lugares cerrados en los cuales encandila la luz fuerte. Lo mejor de todo qué usa las baterías dewalt. Así que no hay que batallar con andar consiguiendo ya qué tengo algunas herramientas de la marca.
