I have a full blown demo hammer but this was the best fit for a shower demo...peeled the tile right off even when a stubborn bond resisted. Keep in mind, this comes with NO TOOLS. So you need to get the bits separately and not many DYI stores carry the Max stuff so shop carefully.

I went many years struggling with shoveling and using a pic to dig dirt and finally got this little Jewel. This small jackhammer does wonders, taking a beating and just keeps on going. It’s a little pricey but considering all the times I would have to rent one, this jackhammer has really paid off. I highly recommend it. When my wife saw me using this, she came out and took it out of my hands and started jackhammering the hard dirt. She felt empowered and really enjoyed it. I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Excelente demoledor, esta diseñado solo para golpear, si necesitas abrir muros o pisos de concreto es tu mejor opción.Si tu caso es tener una herramienta que realicé varias funciones esta No es para ti, ya que no tiene rotomartillo ni velocidad variable.Yo lo adquiri por que ya tengo un taladro demoledor sds plus y necesitaba más poder para abrir concreto fácilmente sin forzar mi sds plus.Lo único inconveniente es que no trae mango tipo D y al trabajar con el mango ordinario lateral te puede llegar a cansar o difil de acceder a lugares pequeños.

I got a digging spade among other bits. It really is super for helping to dig in the hard soils around Tucson. I'm going to use it to chip some tile as well when I replace a few damaged tiles in my floor. Versatile and helpful that it is not so large. Not powerful enough to break large chunks of concrete (at least not with any efficiency), but great for digging, rotary hammer drilling, etc. Highly recommend it if you have hard ground and need to dig.

I have a collection of Dewalt equipment but this is by far the biggest hand-held power tool I have ever bought from the company. As a jackhammer, it is powerful enough to bust through whatever concrete or mortar or masonry you throw at it. As a hammer drill, it can handle large holes with ease. The vibration feedback to the hands is not bad at all. At 12lbs it does get heavy if you are using it horizontally, but it gets the job done quickly enough that it all hurts far less than I thought it would. It can use only chisels and drill bits in the SDS Max format - which are both heavier duty and more expensive than the smaller SDS or SDS Plus accessories (which are not compatible with this tool).
