I use this to drive 3/4” nail stakes through predrilled railroad ties or coated rebar for retaining walls. Life got really easy. These retaining walls are not much higher than 30” but they are stiff and hold well. Depending on the height I put them every few feet. Any higher I recommend a footer and a poured retaining wall with tie backs. Haven’t thought of using this for a more cost effective tie back spike.

Broke immediately. It's actually two pieces and the collar slid down the shaft. Don't buy it, get a different brand that's one piece. Luckily there were other drivers in stock nearby that I drove from site to buy. Big expensive let down. Very disappointing.

I purchased this ground rod driver for my Dewalt hammer drill. It performed flawlessly when driving in three 4ft ground rods. Its strong design will provide me with many more uses. Simply works.
