got this unit on sale and love it. had to downsize from a 240v contractor style saw because of limited space in my small shop. this saw seems to be doing a great job so far and was accurate out of the box

It's a great DIY table saw. Quick high-precision cuts using the rack and pinion fence. Relatively lightweight and portable. Quality build. I built a simple wheeled table to set it on. The 8 1/4" blade will cut a depth of 2 5/8". In my work, I seldom cut anything more than 1 1/2" deep, so it works well for me and lowers the cost of the same basic DeWalt with a 10" blade. On rare occasions, I cut 3 1/2" deep, cutting twice. Well-designed.

This is easily the best table saw I’ve ever owned. Wish I bought this years ago. Well engineered package. Everything has a place to be stored, except the guard. Smooth operation. Fence is easy to adjust. And feels way safer to use than my old Craftsman that doesn't have a riving knife or splitter. I generally just rip with table saws and this performed well ar that.

Es buena la calidad. El precio es considerablemente más barato que en tiendas. Tuve problemas de doble cobro con el banco. Y la espera fue cercana al mes.

Compacta. Bien construida. Fácil de transportar.Buen calibrada desde que llego.Trabajo en un taller y me ha servido de mucho. Ideal para cortes en tableros mdf, triplay.El disco que trae es muy bueno ya llevo más de 8 meses con ella y vale la pena la compra.

Es una buena Sierra. Tiene gran precisión y potencia, los cortes se van como mantequilla.Solo tengo 3 comentarios malos:-No se pueden adaptar Discos para hacer Dados o resaques.-La medida máxima del disco es de 8 - 1/4, esto ya lo sabía de antemano, no es una queja en si, pero si esta sierra fuera de 10'' sería un producto superior, tengo entendido que antes era de 10.-La guía de inglete es una tremenda porquería, ni siquiera se ajusta bien a las guías de la mesa.Recomiendo esperar una buena oferta y comprarla. A ese precio es de lo mejor que hay en el mercado.

La sierra es excelente para quien busca portabilidad, su disco es más pequeño (8 1/4) pero va acorde con el tamaño de la máquina, ya que la mesa también es más pequeña que las sierras con disco de 10"Su deslizamiento con piñones, ayuda mucho para medir con precisión (graduación es únicamente en pulgadas). La sierra se detiene con rapidez (ignoro si cuenta con algún freno eléctrico). Es mi primera sierra y la elegí por 2 razones: La regla se encastra en un par de cabezas de perno, por lo cual no tienes el problema de que se mueva o que no quede paralela con la sierra; y la otra razón es que la guardo cada vez que la uso y al ser pequeña y contar con una manija lateral (soldada al tubular) se posiciona de forma vertical, como se ve en una de las fotos de la publicidad. También les comento que trae espacios dedicados para guardar cada pieza incluida (la regla de ángulos, la guarda plástica transparente, las llaves para quitar la sierra, la pieza que evita el retroceso de la madera y la guía lateral; todo tiene su lugar, incluso trae para enrollarle el cordón. Por lo cual su atributo más destacable, reitero, es la portabilidad.

Firstly - Should have bought it years ago. I've been using a cast iron Craftsman 10" for years, but the belt drive was getting iffy. Plus, moving it around the garage was half the time spent instead of cutting. This is the cure! Get ready for an in-depth (unpacking) review...Secondly - The cons: My only real gripes; are that the start button needs better access - it would be nice to have a "click feel" when adjusting the different positions of the slide bevel push handle (Hitachi makes a very nice one) - and the tabletop is obviously smaller than my 10" Craftsman saw. I'll have to make a surface extension as it's not going to be fully portable.I sell these at my place of work, but for $20 more. I wanted to see if the online version was just as well built and with the same features as ours. I was right, they are the same. Very well-built, and solid with no shakes or rattles. I'll include pictures for your viewing pleasure and informational needs. I put a 48" straight edge on the table with the fence extended, using the measurement bar on the saw as a reference: spot on for blade/fence span.From the edge of the table shown in the spanned setting with the tape measure, 35" overall in case you wonder about support width. With a true 24-1/2" from blade to inside edge of fence fully extended. Picture 9 - The fence (flip-down support), is a very nice touch to help keep whatever it is you are running through in a full rip-level with the table surface.The blade guard shown in picture 3 - ours at work doesn't have this feature as it must be an older version. But this one; the guard you can lock in the upright position for a little more clarity if you need it. Nice oversized stop button that you can hit in a hurry; or if you are wearing gloves - you don't need to use just a finger to turn it off. The start button, to me, could be a little more accessible, or stick out farther. A minor detail. The blade spin with nothing loaded on it, stops in about 2 seconds from full spin. A nice touch, compared to a belt-driven blade which takes 2 weeks :)I like the tool storage on it, two places to put your blade stop/nut wrench. I see on the inside underneath, what looks like an additional tool storage slot, but the instructions do not say what it's for, nor is it labeled. Picture 5 - An extra place to put your blade kerf for when you transport it. Also on the outside of the fence is your push tool storage. You can also store your fence upside down under the right side of the table surface in transport mode!Picture 7/10 you get an idea what hose adaptor size for the dust collector you need. There is a tension adjustment for your fence extension bars on the left side underneath, if it feels a little loose you can give it a turn or two. I didn't install the kickback teeth as I do a lot of full - semi-full ripping of plywood, it's more of a hindrance than a help in my case. But for those who are new at table saws, I would suggest putting it on. There's also a handy storage for that kickback tool under the table surface.Overall, I'm happy with this saw. A very nice blade they install for you, smooth angle adjustment. Easy change blade guard with dust collection port on it. Dewalt wins again.Update: I've used it a dozen times now (plywood, 2x4, ripped a few 1x and wood trim). I put a collection bag on the blade guard, and a vacuum on the lower port. It will collect about 90% of the dust. The clear plastic blade guard I find I lock it in the upright position 9/10 times I use it, as I'm picky on "seeing" where it cuts (get yourself a nice face shield and dust mask). It's very loud, you will need ear protection. I still don't like the "on switch", you really have to jab it with an ungloved finger to activate it. Not very efficient when you are holding material in your other hand.

Es mi segunda sierra de mesa. Como hobbista inicie con una sierra Stanley de 10" que me ayudo mucho a entender el uso de la sierra y los factores a tomar en cuenta al cortar madera con esta herramienta, sin embargo, sus materiales y acabados no son de lo "mejor" y la precison es buena a secas. Pero con esta sierra Dewalt las cosas cambian por completo, la calidad de los materiales, los acabados, la precision de cortes, la facilidad de ajuste de la guia, la portabilidad, etc. Recomendada 100% para aquellos que inician en el mundo de la carpinteria.

Estoy sorprendido, la verdad no creo mucho las reseñas de amazon tanto ya que he visto productos con 5 estrellas y son de una, esta sierra esta muy bien hecha, la calidad de materiales te deja pensando que el precio es muy bajo por la gran calidad, algo que me llamo la atención fue que donde va la sierra esta cubierta de tela protegiendo la maquina de las birutas de madera haciendo que se mantenga limpio el motor, otra cosa que me llamo la atencion es que no tuve que rectificar nada, todo venia increíblemente rectificado, y la barra de guia increíblemente estable aun extendiéndola al maximo lo único que deja un poco desilusionado es la guia de inglete no es estable, pero si comparamos toda la maquina es un detalle menor ya que es una super maquina le doy de 1 - 100, 95 por la guía de inglete, en pocas palabras para ser una sierra de 8 1/4 " UN TANQUE"

Excelente herramienta la he usado varios meses, No tengo ninguna falla ni nada extraño que tenga asta el momento, es un tamaño practica muy precisa en sus cortes tiene potencia y vale cada centavo que inviertas en ella, muy bien construida portátil se acomoda a casi cualquier sitio, lo malo para mexico es que solo viene en pulgadas su regla.

Es una máquina muy bien construida de buenos materiales muy precisa (se puede calibrar toda, tiene tornillos serca de cada parte a calibrar) muy buena potencia, en mi caso le cambié el disco por uno de 60 dientes y los cortes son más limpios, excelente máquina y a mí me salió a muy buen precio. Algunos se desesperan porque tarda Amazon en avisarles que ya va en camino pero no desesperen, a mí me tardo casi un mes en llegar. Eso sí, la compré vendida y envíada por Amazon Estados Unidos, porque Amazon México no la tenían disponible, comprarla con otros vendedores no me da confianza.
