i like that i don't have to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses and they come in a plastic case that I keep in my car

These lightweight plastic clip-on sunglasses do not interfere with my vision and are very effective for walking or driving on sunny days. Unfortunately, the protective plastic case that they come in , as well as the plastic clips that hold these lenses to you normal glasses, are fragile. Therefore, I would have given these sunglasses only a 2- or 3-star rating. However, I found how to reinforce the weakest spots on the case and glasses.Picture "A" shows two cases, the lower one is unreinforced whereas the upper case has glue added to the small metal brads that hold the flexible clear plastic cover to the white plastic end pieces so that they do not pull through so easily. Picture "B" is a close-up of the added glue on the outside end of the metal brad, and that must be added to the two brads on the front and the two brads on the back of the case.Picture "C" shows the clip-on sunglasses themselves with the 4 reinforced clips on the left edge top and bottom, and the right edge top and bottom. Picture "D" is a close-up of the left edge so that you can see how the glue is added to the base of each clip, which strengthens the joint of the clip to the plastic lens and makes the clips far harder to break off.With these reinforcements, these clip-on sunglasses are acceptably durable, so I give them a 4-star rating. The glasses have met expectations, but the spring in the case lid broke fairly quickly.
