Works well but I'll definitely only be using it as a backup drive. The WD Passports work much better for everyday use. This drive takes around 5-10 seconds to boot up and turn off and when working or idling it "thumps" every 3 seconds or so. Kind of obnoxious sounding but other than that it works fine.Also keep in mind that it does require external power so it's not very portable.

Muy silencioso, 100% recomendado, el espacio final es de 20 Tb, entre archivos internos del disco duro y de que la capacidad es menor como en cualquier. Mejor que que los seagate, muy conforme con mi compra.

I ordered 22TB, received 20TB, the box had a fake sticker claiming to be 22TB, checked the model number on Western Digital website to confirm, it is only 20TB

Ya sea en Windows o Linux son increíblemente lentos para responder. Al grado de que han provocado que se congelen totalmente ambos sistemas.No hablo de software instalado dentro. Ni si quiera de reproducir medios. Al simple intento de sincronizar archivos.La foto sólo es para demostrar que tengo 2. Así que no es sólo un modelo aislado. Esperaba más de esta marca.

I use it for a backup of my 22tb external drive for my photos. So far it works fine without a hitch. I inadvertently dropped it from about four feet onto a tile floor and it didn't skip a beat.

I have used Western Digital drives for 20 years and have NEVER had a problem. They all still work. I have graduated from 10 TB to 14 TB to 22 TB drives. There is nothing as reliable. Need to switch your data to another computer? Just switch the USB cord.

Recientemente adquirí esta unidad de almacenamiento, la he conectado a mi computadora y la reconoció inmediatamente. He transferido archivos rápidamente y sin ningún problema.Estoy muy satisfecho con mi compra.

Having bought a new "computer" WITHOUT as large a HD as I wanted ... this may have cost an arm and half a leg, but it has already made my computing ... tolerable. I'm not a tech kind of person. When I buy a computer, get it running the way I want I HATE CHANGE!!! I DO NOT NEED MORE ... I NEED just what I HAVE... and BINGO ... crash!!! BUY A NEW ALL OVER AGAIN. I'm so sick of the game. THIS HD will at least have EVERYTHING on it in one place so I'm ready for the NEXT inevitable pounding. So far, it's beyond fast enough on either my HDD (Renewed) or NEW SSD Macs. I should have bought one of these years ago.
