These hook and loop 6” sanding pads are absolute value for money! I needed a selection of sanding disks for my new 6” air sander to sand down some new cabinets I’m building. With such a large surface being sanded at once with the large disks it eliminates the swirls and digging in smaller sanding pads tend to make. They also hold up pretty well and have not notice much clogging occurring. I used a 800 grit pad to sand some door fronts to prep it for paint and even after putting it through the paces it still looked like it was brand new. They don’t tear easily and for the price this is a steal. I highly recommend these sanding pads and will definitely get more once I run low.

I forgot to check the size of my sander, and these are to big, but I need a new sander anyhow, so I'll just get one to fit these. They seem exactly like my other sanding discs, so I'm sure they'll work the same.

I had to share my experience. These are much better quality than any other brands I have had in the past. When I ordered these, I ordered them for my 6-inch orbital sander, but that sander seems to have grown legs. So I decided to trim them down for my 5-inch orbital sander. I am happy to report that these worked perfectly even though they were trimmed down. If I didn’t know that these were trimmed down, I wouldn’t have known they were not created for this size sander. Sometimes, when you are augmenting tools to adapt to a different size or purpose, they lose quality. One of the reasons that I like these sanding pads is the velcro used on these disks. It seemed to hold tighter than the name-brand pads on my Bauer sander, so it makes it easier to be precise about where I am trying to get to. The paper is thinner, so I was concerned about how long it would last. I was pretty rough on the disks I used, as I usually am because I wanted to make sure I gave them a good test. I was not disappointed in the amount of work done before they wore down. They lasted a little longer than the name-brand sanding disks I normally use, and I didn't have any tears or wear holes in the discs. I would recommend these and I plan on purchasing these in the future instead of the more expensive pads I've been using for the last few years. What more could I ask for in a sanding pad than to be able to save money and have a better quality product?
