I love this cover. It helps my keep my keys clean and I don't have to worry about dirt and pet fur getting trapped in the keys. The squish isn't too bad when typing, though I'm sure compared to no squish, we'd all prefer the normal keys. The icons printed on the FN keys at the top don't match all of my laptop's functions, so I'm assuming different models of this laptop changed the key functions. It's not a huge deal, but sometimes I have to lift the cover to see what I have again.It's super easy to put on, which is good, because sometimes based on the angle of my screen the air pushes through the keys from the fans, which basically balloons the cover. But it'll fall back down into place when the air stops.I got black because I liked how it matched the black screen frame. The backlight doesn't show through the cover to illuminate the letters, but rather just in-between all the keys. It's not really any different from without the cover, where the silver on silver is just hard to read especially with the backlight. If you need to read your keys to know what you're pressing, I think you'll have a hard time at night with either cover or no cover, but in daylight the cover is definitely better to read than without.

This covers my asus rog zephyrus g14 keyboard completely. I think it’s squishy to type on but my main use for this is to protect my keyboard when I’m not doing heavy typing. It might bother you, but I will live with it. If I don’t need it, I’ll simply take it off and it’s not a big deal.
