I started diving steel backplate with steel tanks and the need for weights is far less with vest BCDs. I was only needing to carry a few pounds but higher on my back then where the waist pockets could provide. I installed this on the higher of the two CAM bands for my tank and carried 1lb in each side and it worked out fantastic for my trim. If you are needed a few pounds of weight that you want to distribute across your tank CAM bands these are for you. I would highly recommend them and Dive Rite gear has always been my go to. High quality products.

LOVE these on my DiveRite HydroLite. Unfortunately I just started using integrated weights and have not been as diligent as I should be making sure they are fully snapped in and secure. Lost a weight sled on one side. Got a replacement at a reasonable price, but was still a bummer having to replace that part.The $40 I paid for that was a Bozo tax.

I am using these in the upside down configuration with a 6lb lead shot pouch. In short it is a tight fit, but it works exactly as intended.
