Product arrived fast and undamaged. Came in a simple plastic bag but nothing was scratched up or marked up in anyway so no harm no foul there. These are really nice looking bolts they aren’t “jewelry gold” they are “bike part gold” if that makes sense. They are a bright vibrant more orange gold but they match all the other gold touches I’ve put on my Amazon bike build (6KU urban track fixie) perfectly so it appears that’s a thing. They are extremely well finished I checked over each bolt individually and there were no burrs or anything each one was in perfect order. Installing them was a breeze, they are bolts there’s no real science to it, take off and old one replace with a new one and work your way diagonally in a cross pattern when tightening and bobs your uncle. I did put a dab of locktite on each one because it’s what you do and it’s more aero (just accept it, don't question it). I’ll admit openly I didn’t use the included tool to tighten them as I have some other park tool brand tools I generally use for maintenance BUT it was a nice addition and if you aren’t insane like me and have a tool box full of overpriced tools then you have the peace of mind of knowing everything you need is included in this package. As for performance these are doing their job as intended. As you can see in my photos I did a hard ride on them, part testing wise (I pushed them intentionally) and nothing budged. No creaks or squeaks or any weirdness what so ever I’ve done a couple more rides since and same results. You have to try pretty hard to mess up a chainring bolt anyway so it’s generally not a major fail spot so I see these lasting just fine for quite awhile but in the interest of science it should be stated I’m a commuter and ride for workouts I don’t hit trails or do bar spins off a cliff or anything but if you’re doing that you’re probably not looking for the cheapest options anyway so that’s a fair point to make. I got the single ring bolts as I have a single speed fixie and they fit perfectly, was a 1 to 1 for the bolts i replaced so fit is exactly perfect or at least it was for my bike. I love the look of these, in my opinion you just can’t go wrong with matte black, tan and gold and these nailed it and as I mentioned earlier, matched other parts I’ve bought from other sellers like it was all a set so I have no complaints what so ever on look or performance. I’m very happy with these and I plan on likely getting another set for my trek 8000 now that I’ve tried them out for a bit (that thing is a monster truck with two wheels). If you’re looking for a great set of chainring bolts that will look great and not break the bank these seem like a very great option.
