This is one of the best purchases I've ever made! My heeler is a puller and it was becoming a major chore to walk him, but after even the first time of using this he has stopped pulling on walks. I am even able to attach him to the double leash with my other dog and they walk great side by side now with no issues. When I first put this on him he of course didn't like it and was able to take it off a few times but I would just slip it back on his snout and now he's gotten used to it and gets happy when I pull it out because he know it's time for a walk. Like other people said sizing does run large. I went a size down and it's still a little loose but does the job and maybe is more comfortable for him since it's loose, but he is able to slip it off if he really wants to.

It works. Had to do some sewing to make it snuggly fit my dog as it was a bit big. But now it is great!

Este tipo de bozal me ha resuelto problemas con mi perrito al salir a caminar, es muy practico para corregir sin lastimar. yo adquirí el mediano. Se tiene que medir bien a la mascota para poder ordenar.

Looks good and seems comfy but because it has no locking device my dog slips out of it easily when leash is relaxed.

We have two Goldens. One is ten, the other two. Our ten year old would pull us down the street when we tried to walk him, so shamefully, we gave up walks & simply played ball with him in the yard for exercise. Then the baby came along. We decided to 'do-it-right' with puppy training, etc. This pup simply did not respond favorably to the training technique for walking a pooch. He just never 'got it'. We literally were taking 3-4 steps, stopping & sitting constantly during our walks. It never got better to the point that he walked without almost continual pulling & yanking. I'd tried a gentle leader piece on our dear departed Golden some years ago & had gotten mixed results, so I decided to try it with this pup. Well. It was like night & day. First of all (& this is pure luck), he accepted the collar right away. Then, when we 'took off', he was REMARKABLY calmer. We only had to have him stop/sit one or two times. So, decided to try it on our ten year old & he took right to it as well. Now, we can walk our dogs together like 'normal' folks. No marks around their muzzles with this wider collar as the Gentle Leader we bought first. Love it. (no itchiness like another reviewer noted - no dirt, either because our dogs not rubbing his nose on the ground - he's walking beside us calmly.)
