I absolutely love this water filter bowl, I have a pug and English bulldog, and I'd never go back to just a bowl, I rinse, wipe and refill every other day, give it a good clean once a week, and about every 2 weeks sterilise and change filters, girls absolutely love it, keeps water fresher and much cleaner, highly reccomend this product, you can see all the bits it collects behind the filters, very easy to put together, simple fish tank pump which is easy to take apart to clean as I do, quiet, good for the money, holds a lot of water ! Pump is quiet but does the job. Love it !

avevo gia provarto la linea pert mate con la fontana piu piccola. ora avendo due gatti che bevono molto ho deciso di acquistare questa versione piu grande. contiene piu acqua e per questo svuotarla nel cambio dell'acqua diventa un pochino più pesante ma è molto più comoda da pulire molto più silenziosa e il flusso dell'acqua è perfetto. anche i miei gatti ne sono stati entusiastiraccomando anche per chi ha necessità di lasciare il gatto da solo pochi giorni

La meilleure fontaine à chien pour moi.Elle possède deux compartiments où le chien peut boire bas et haut.Mes deux chiens peuvent donc boire en même temps le plus petit berger des shetlands bois dans la partie haute le malinois bois dans la partie basse.Cette fontaine se démonte et se nettoie facilement ce qui est hyper agréable il en est de même pour la pompe si jamais la fontaine ne fonctionne plus c’est souvent la pompe qui est entartrées donc ne jetez pas l’appareil il y a de grandes chances qu’elle fonctionne encore après avoir plongé la pompe dans un bain de vinaigre.Les filtres sont un bon rapport qualité prix.Ce que j’aime aussi dans cette fontaine c’est la contenance qui est énorme je ne me souviens plus combien de litres mais je sais que je remplis avec une carafe Brita et qu’il me faut au moins sept fois de carafe pour la remplir je préfère utiliser de l’eau filtrée qui en tartre moins la fontaine également. Sa grande contenance assure assez d’eau pour que la Fontaine fonctionne tout le temps et que les chiens lorsqu’ils sont plusieurs est assez à boire la journée quand on est au travail par exemple.Comme dans la version pour chat on peut débrancher l’alimentation et la séparer de l’embout secteur ce qui est pratique.En revanche penser bien à acheter un adaptateur prise française car la prise secteur n’est pas une prise française donc j’ai acheté un adaptateur après avoir reçu la commande et tout fonctionne très facilement.Ce que j’aime aussi c’est lorsque l’on a rempli la fontaine à l’évier par exemple au niveau du des côtés ça fait comme des sortes de poignée ce qui fait qu’on peut la transporter facilement à l’endroit où on souhaite la reposer même si celle-ci est rempli.J’étais déjà conquise par la version pour chat je le suis tout autant par la version pour chien j’adore vraiment cette marque je trouve que c’est un super bon rapport qualité prix on se ruine pas pour acheter des fontaines de bonne contenance est bien pensé à nos animaux et je trouve que c’est très appréciable et en plus elles ont un design simple qui s’inscrit facilement dans un logement.Je rédige ce commentaire en sachant que ça fait déjà un an que je l’ai et franchement c’est un super bon achat.

We have been using the large Dog Mate for about a month now. The cats like it and the dog likes it. The "waterfall' is such that it does not splash and the design in general is excellent. It is simple to disassemble for cleaning, the plastic is slightly flexible so there is no fear of it breaking when taking it apart, and the openings virtually guarantee that if the upper reservoir's "waterfall gate" somehow gets blocked, the water will overflow right back into the basin without flooding the floor. Even the pump is easily removed for cleaning, all without tools. It is so well thought out that it even assembles out of the box without tools. But..Two things to mentions. The first is that you should never clean it with anything abrasive as it will easily scratch the plastic material. If scale builds up I would recommend a natural, gentle descaler like a dilution of citric acid powder (sometimes sold as "sour salt") should be used.The other thing is their filter design. Even with two filters inserted (it is designed to hold two at once), they do not effectively filter out dust and fur because of the way they loosely fit into the base. With a big dog and three cats in our RV, and with the Dog Mate on a vinyl floor, we were having to clean the fur off the intake of the pump daily as the flow was dramatically reduced if we did not. The photo attached shows the solution.We bought a Marineland Bonded Filter Pad #PA0100 large aquarium filter material. I made a template and cut a number of filters which are 4" x 4½" in size. That's a dozen filters for about $4.50 (or about $.38 each) if you buy the pack here on Amazon. We discarded the original filters and slipped one of these into the slots where the original filters sat, allowing it to create a slight convex curve against the flow of the water.The filter in the photo was in place for over a week and the pump's flow never decreased. of course, this does not preclude the need to change the water in the Dog Mate regularly. You can see the light blue stripe of clean filter material where the pad was above the water line. I suppose this filter replacement could be washed in just hot water, but at $0.38 each I am not sure it is worth the effort. it certainly is a more effective solution that keeps the pump from clogging, they last longer, and do so at 1/6 the cost if you use two of the original filters at a time. That would be about $2 vs. $0.38!In conclusion, we have had a few other fountains which clogged easily and were a pain to clean. This one is easy to clean and with this filter solution we don't worry about clogging.
