I actually have several paper doll books by this artist, and I love them. As an adult collector, I can appreciate the artwork; the colors are lovely and the dresses/outfits are drawn in a dreamy, soft-edged style. I also enjoy cutting the dolls out, and I love the way the clothes fit perfectly on the dolls. I don't think I would recommend this book for very young children, as they might have difficulty in cutting out the dolls and clothes, but for older children or adults, I do recommend this artist's work.I read a review of another paper doll book by this artist where the reviewer complained that the dolls were unclothed and therefore not appropriate for children; I would like to say that the dolls are drawn wearing contemporary underthings and I found them in no way to be inappropriate. Of course, as I said before, I wouldn't be giving this to a young child anyway.
