Full disclosure: I don't fish. But, my kids do and I'm trying to contain all the gear. This bag has a good quality zipper on it and seems to be of good, lasting construction/material. I read a review that mentioned the size was too big so I figured it would be good for me as some of our poles are larger ones. However, I can see what the previous reviewer was saying. It's too long for regular sized poles and I think it's too short for the longer poles we have. Maybe I just don't know what I'm doing (that's a distinct possibility). But, I was able to fit 2 of the regular size poles in the bag and think it would comfortably fit a 3rd, if one wanted to do that. I am going to keep it because I can store the regular sized poles and it contains them for storage, which is what I was looking for. I think it will work fine for transporting to the lake as well when the boys are back from college.

I received this bag looking forward to have an easy way to carry my poles around when I am out fishing and I was a bit disappointed. The pole got this for is 60" which is 3" shorter than the size of this bag which should have made using it simple enough but the shape of the bag prevented that from happening. There is only a small area allotted for the handle of a pole and unfortunately my pole is not laid out the way the bag expects it to be. Since I have a longer handle portion it made getting my pole situated a bit difficult. I was able to finally get my pole situated. I was able to get a 2nd pole in bag but had to force the zipper to close which leads me to believe that the wear and tear from forcing it closed will not have this bag lasting very long. The material poorly put together with a couple of stitches.
