The licence plate lights would not come on. I replaced the bulbs and nothing. Bought this and replaced the old ones and now it works like new.

I bought one for the side marker light on my 2001 Ford Tauras Wagon. It looked like the original, so I bought it to try it out. This socket fitted perfectly. Ford stopped making parts for my vehicle, and couldn't find this part at any auto wreckers. My old ones had corroded, cracked and pieces had broken off. Will be buying another one for my other side, since it fits.

I installed this on my 2001 Ford Ranger it was very easy to connect and everything fit perfectly.
