The right part, fits and works as it shouldUpdate: 4 months later it all fell apart!!!I wonder if there is any warranty? I will try and find out.

The Cable worked fine after the original cable broke. Installation was quick and easy. I used a metal screw instead of the plastic one that is standard. The round part just snaps on and the other end stays on better with the small metal bolt, nut and washer picked up at Home Depot for less than a dollar. Quick delivery too.
