I look over most of this stuff thoroughly before installing with good reason. The threaded end has a spring loaded ball that acts as a check valve . It is retained in the main body with a washer and then cramped at the end. This was definitely not centered prior to being cramped and has damaged the main body. It might still function properly, but I wasn't installing it in my motor.

I haven't had any issues with this product that's been installed a very long time and is still working very well I can't speak for anyone else I can only speak for myself but if it worked for me it will probably work for you
