Installed on my 2008 Honda Accord V6. No problems so far and have driven about 500k. Used the original bolts, as the new bolts do seem to be of lesser quality. Torqued to 6 lbs. Tried using new cheap gaskets before purchasing the new solenoid, but it kept leaking oil. The problem probably is if the solenoid is malfunctioning the pressure is too high, hence why replacing the gaskets doesn't work and the oil leaks continue. Hopefully the Dorman will last. Much cheaper than the Honda OEM.

2013 Honda Pilot. Had a small oil leak when where this solenoid was. Didn’t want it to ruin my alternator.Two plugs and 3 bolts and it slid out right underneath the wiring harness.All pieces fit great.35 minutes later it was installed and the leak is gone.The gaskets fit perfectly.Thank you for not having to bring it in to the dealership.Old vs new in picture.

Paid around 75 dollars for this. I just had the dripping on the alternator which has taken out 2 on my van so far in it's life. I replaced the alternator and the gasket 20k miles ago. After a while it started to appear to leak again.I tried 18 dollar gaskets with no luck. It just kept making the dipstick appear like it was leaking.Installed this about 1k miles ago, no issues. No drips or faults yet.

Se quitó la válvula VVT antigua, se instaló una nueva y, como se esperaba, funciona perfectamente. Gracias

ولكن بعد فتره بسيطة ترجع لي المشكلة احياننا مع رجه بالمكينة و ارجع وافكه وا نظفه من جديد ويمشي الحال لازم كل شي هر اغيره
