I installed this on a 2008 Escape and was a basic plug and play as far as electronics go. Connected to the wiring harness without issue. I bought both the driver and passenger side. Difference between this and oem is that the mirror does not have glass covering the blind spot mirror making it flat but it’s not a deal breaker. The new gasket included was not thick enough so air was passing through allowing wind noise to be hear in the cabin but adding foam tape will help dampen the noise. I can’t recommend this enough if you’re looking for a replacement or upgrading to mirrors that have blind spot monitors built in.

The imperfect: So there's a plastic cone thing that sticks out from the center of where the mirror housing mounts to the door. This must have been a design of an iteration prior to mine, as my 2012 Ford Escape XLT FWD, did not have such a hole for it to enter into. There was one slightly over to one side, but it was too far for this cone, so it had to be cut off.The perfect: Price. Also it looks great, easy to change out, adjustment motor works perfectly. if you have small hands and the right angled sockets or ratchet wrenches for 10mm and 12mm, you probably wont even need to remove the door panel to get to the bolts holding the old mirror on. This unit interfaced perfectly and no one can tell it had ever been replaced.The difficulty: Finding this replacement with the wide angle mirror embedded in the corner for not a fortune was impossible. Thankfully I found this one after hours searching different combinations of words, didn't work, I scrolled on the horizontal "other items by this seller" or "similar items" and eventually found this gem! Like a needle in a haystack

me gusta el detalle que el espejo es mejor que el que tenia originalmente de fabrica, es panoramico y aparte tiene en la esquina el de punto ciego, lo instale muy facil en 10 min, solo son 3 tornillos, recomendado, compren nuevo en lugar de un yonke, el yonke estaba igual de precio

Llegó antes de lo previsto, al momento de montarlo solo tuve que utilizar el foam del espejo pasado, de ahí en fuera funcionó perfectamente
