My 2010 Tacoma Double Cab was having intermittent AC blower motor issues where it would not turn on at all. Being that I live in the south, this wasn't acceptable. I purchased this and when I went to go install it, I noticed that my stock blower motor resistor wire plug had the burnt wire appearance that other owners talked about, so I cut the wires and carefully soldered the new wires back in and taped everything up. I am not a fan of using taps, splices, or twisting and wire-nutting (lol nutting). I do have to mention that the wires for this kit are pretty nice and thick and hopefully don't burn up like the OEM. After the plug was and resistor were replaced, it did not fix the issue as the main culprit was blower motor itself. Once I also replaced that, everything worked perfectly.

Looked to be well built and only took 10 minutes to remove the old piece and install this one. Didn’t use the new wires included, and the existing wires worked well. Just unplug, remove 2 bolts, pull out the old one, put in the new part, replace bolts, plug in and you’re done. Super easy!

Can’t complain, went from only having my truck heater blowing at full to working on all speeds. It was nice to not have to drive around looking for this part. Super easy. Super happy.
