My driver side door lock on my 2005 Acura MDX was not working and therefore could not unlock/lock doors remotely. Changed the actuator and can unlock/lock all doors again. Found a video on YouTube on how to replace the actuator and took me about 2 hours plus a couple of scraped knuckles to get it done. Also used a webcam in the door frame to see video on my phone of what I was doing as it's a tight fit at an awkward angle. After it was all said and done, everything works fine and can lock/unlock all doors remotely with my key fob.

My 2005 CRV SE just recently at 117,000 miles, the front drivers door, and the rear hatch stopped locking with the remote. Upon further investigation I found it to be faulty door lock actuators. You can get them for anywhere from $10 (cheap junk) - $60ish (OEM Honda). I went with the middle ground as Dorman has always been a solid aftermarket company.They are a little tricky to install but there are plenty of youtube videos to help you with that.This door actuator is for the CRV's manufactured in Great Britain, you can tell by looking at your vin number, if it starts with an "S" this is for you.They are working fine now, but only time will tell, I will update the review if they fail prematurely.

LOOK AT YOUR VIN!!!! I assumed and made a fool of myself. I bought the wrong one and paid the price of having to dismantle and put back together twice. But This works for UK CRVs not sure what year, but my wifes 2003 its a perfect fit. just be careful and watch a video on the process.
